Born with a passion for music in the vibrant city of Sāo Paulo, Julio Marks has Grown into a saxophone, composer and Dj. player. With a thriving academic education in saxophone he took his talents to the street of Barcelona, where he delved even deeper into his baritone sax abilities and specialised in traditional Jazz and popular Brazilian music. Julio graces the stages of private events, clubs, and festivals with various Brazilian music collectives. As composer he is the mastermind behind the avant-garde electronic music protect know as NUBN Collective, which infuses Brazilian classics with electronic and experimental sounds. Julio also lends his talent to the sound design of theatrical performances and movies.

I've been mixing music since about 1998... These days, it's just a hobby.Once a month or so, I download a bunch of tracks and make a fresh mix out of them. I mostly play House Music. It's what moves me. As they say, "House is a feeling..." I try to smoosh good tunes with good mixes. I mostly pull it off, I believe. Any of my sets will include a bunch of House, Techno, and Trance. I try not to get too locked in on one genre because I find 60 minutes of anything to be too redundant. I try to keep it fresh, upbeat, and fun and most importantly, BANGING!!Favorite DJs: Bad Boy Bill and Richard "Humpty" Vission are the two that inspired me to want to get into DJing long ago. They will always be the best to me. Any dickhead can stand there and play records. Those two put on a show- nay, a clinic on how it's done. If they're ever in your town, go see them! I'm an amateur at-home DJ still learning the ropes. I'm 69 years old and love listening to a wide range of music, mostly House, Dance, Disco, and Reggae, as well as some country.
